Alune: ADHD Planner & Journal, Android testing

This notice covers the Android testing version provided by Ahmed Diab, package com.ahmeddiab.alune. This version uses a separate testing environment. Its accounts, synced information and subscriptions are separate from the publicly available iPhone, iPad and web app. Please use fictional information when testing.

Alune for Android is a productivity planner. This version does not include medication management, structured mood or energy tracking, or health and wellness templates. A plain journal is stored on your device and is excluded from Android account sync.

Information used by the app

Planner information is stored locally. Signing in is optional. When you sign in, supported tasks, habits, goals, notes and library information can be stored in your testing account to support sync. Account sign-in processes your email address, account identifier and, where supplied by your sign-in provider, a display name. Google or another sign-in provider processes its own authentication information.

Connecting Android calendars allows the app to read and create events through your device’s calendar provider. Permission is requested when needed. Calendar information relevant to a selected AI request can be sent with that request. The app does not require access to contacts, text messages or your location for these features.

AI and voice are optional and require consent and an internet connection. When you select an AI tool, the request and relevant information needed for that task are sent for processing. This can include journal text you choose to process, even though the journal does not sync. Voice input sends microphone audio for transcription. Do not include information you do not want processed by those services.

Supabase provides testing authentication, sync and backend functions. Depending on the selected tool and configured routing, AI processing uses OpenRouter and model providers including Google, Anthropic or OpenAI. Voice transcription uses OpenAI or ElevenLabs. These services may process information outside your country.

Google Play processes purchases. RevenueCat validates purchase status and provides subscription access. The app uses a RevenueCat identifier, and signing in links billing access to the Supabase testing account identifier. These identifiers are not a promise of anonymity. Alune does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play. Test-track access alone does not make a purchase free; billing QA accounts must use Google’s license-testing facilities.

Google Play Integrity and the testing backend process installation identifiers, app/device integrity results and short-lived security sessions to protect AI services. Operational systems process limited request outcomes, timing and security information. If you submit feedback or flag an AI response, the submitted text and relevant request context are processed to investigate it. Do not put passwords or payment details in feedback.

The Android testing version has no advertising placements. Purchase and subscription information is processed for billing and access to paid features, as described above.

Storage, retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you remove it or the app’s local data. Account deletion is separate from local data deletion. The Android journal remains local during account changes and is not deleted through a cloud-journal request.

The Android testing account-deletion path verifies your identity with the testing authentication service. It requests deletion of the testing RevenueCat customer, removes associated testing quota, operation, feedback and attestation records, and deletes the testing account. Synced account records are removed through their account-deletion relationships. Provider deletion requests can be processed asynchronously. Store transaction records and limited operational/security records may be retained when required for legal compliance or fraud prevention; provider retention and deletion policies also apply to information already processed by those providers.

Use Settings > Account > Delete account to delete a testing account. If you cannot use the app, contact support@aluneapp.com from the account email and state that your request concerns Alune Android testing. Do not send a password, sign-in code, payment-card number or private journal content. Ownership verification may be required. Deleting a testing account does not delete your separate live iPhone, iPad or web account and does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

For privacy questions or correction/deletion requests, contact Ahmed Diab at support@aluneapp.com.

Your choices and contact

You can use local planning without signing in. You can decline optional calendar, microphone, notification or AI access; the features that need that access will be unavailable. You may request access, correction or deletion of your account information at support@aluneapp.com. We may verify your identity before acting on the request. Depending on your location, you may also have a right to complain to your data-protection authority.

We do not sell your personal information. Do not use this testing version to store information about another person without their permission. We will update this notice when testing practices change.
